I ordered the full 8 hour package for my wedding on 17 Nov 2024 for £730. I was in put in touch with my photographer who was great. However, despite having promised my photos, I was not able to download them from the website. I paid for the high resolution (an extra £30 if I remember) and just couldn't download them or even see my gallery.
I clicked, "download" and just nothing happened. I emailed perfocal, they said they had an issue with their gallery they're trying to fix.
I followed up with emails and phone calls, and have received nothing back.
It's been two months and still have not received anything from them in terms of photos, communication, answering the phone, etc.
If you book with them, there's a very high chance you'll never receive your photos or hear from them again.
Companies on Trustpilot can’t offer incentives or pay to hide any reviews.

Perfocal is a good resource for booking last-minute photos.
A warning: you won't know your photographer's skill level and experience with your intended subject matter. The editing is minimal and sometimes awkward. If you know how to edit, order the raw files so you can sort them on your own.
I wish there were a feedback/review function (like an Uber star rating) where you could easily share what worked or didn't with your photographer. That way, customers know what they're ordering.
That said, my most recent photographer, Flo, did a lovely job on a quick one-hour workplace shoot.
Such an easy and useful service! The one thing that I wish was more clear is that your package price ONLY includes standard quality images, not hi-res ones. You have to then pay £29 extra for hi-res. When you do so, it's slightly confusing as to which to selected - All Original Images or Hi Res Images. I mistakenly chose All Original, thinking that meant original size, but actually it meant all unedited photos. Thankfully the helpful customer service representative sorted it for me quickly and swapped it so I could access the hi res edited ones instead.
Really love choosing the exact time and date that worked for our family. Even though I initially submitted the request incorrectly for the wrong date, it was promptly rectified without any extra fees. Photographer Alex was very friendly and did well with our kids and their short attention spans. He explained exactly what he was trying to shoot and the photos came out great

DO NOT USE
I don't normally leave feedback but this company have been such a joke, I need to let people know.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I booked and this company in August 2024 to come into our office for professional head shots, and I am still waiting for some of the photos, and we are at the end of December 2024.
Everything started ok, the photographer turn up in Sept, she was very nice, took LOADS of photos, explained how she sent everything to the office for editing and they would send the photos.
Her last words to me were if you have any problems just call me.
I received an email about 2 weeks later and all the photos were supposed to be in the link within the email.
Firstly my IT department would not allow me to download the link for the photos, so they kindly downloaded and sent what they had to me.
After checking through the photo's there were 2 members of staff missing and quite a few photos weren't even in the centre, plus they didn’t send ALL the photos taken.
I have been in contact with Perfocal since Sept trying to obtain the missing photos. I even phoned the photographer but she would only look back through her photos if, "I paid her".
We are now at the end of December 2024 and I am still waiting for these photos.
No one answers the phone or calls back if you leave messages. The only means of communication is email but they don't always reply straight away.
The list goes on, trying to obtain these photos or a refund, it’s now 4 months on and this has not been resolved.
Terrible customer service.

I have been working with perfocal in…
I have been working with perfocal in multiple photoshoots. The photo shoot today was amazing with a beautiful family graduation. However, It is quite disappointing today that I heard from them, They paid about £200 while the photographer only paid by the perfocal £56.
This raises a concern, and Perfocal should be mindful when determining photographer payouts to ensure that the collaboration between Perfocal and photographers is mutually beneficial and for fair compensation.

The photographer that was booked was…
The photographer that was booked was unable to attend and sent another in his place. I had requested for a "first look" photo before heading to Old Marylebone Town Hall. He arrived late so this did not happen. There were no photos taken of us going up the steps into the building and when we were leaving he did not come with us to take photos on the way out. There was no group photo taken on the middle steps after the confetti. So many many moments lost. Overall the photos are more than disappointing.

Steer clear of this unprofessional outfit
Based on my experience, I would advise people to steer clear of this unprofessional outfit. I'm a professional photographer and I registered my services with Perfocal some time ago with a view that I may get an occasional job to supplement my regular business. I have had several jobs offered to me at a fee of a measly £56 which I have turned down each and every time. One is not likely to get a skilled and worthy photographer who is being paid £56.
A week or two ago I declined another job offering a fee of £56 and then received an updated offer of £70 which I further declined. I then received an additional updated offer of £75 which is still less than what I would normally charge but as I was free for the proposed shoot day/time, I decided to accept. As per their instructions, I contacted the client and confirmed the booking and meeting arrangements. I then received contact from Perfocal saying that "the job has been cancelled, rest assured there is already an assigned photographer for the original shoot, so everything is still on track."
My guess is that another photographer who had also been offered the job at one of the previous lower fees, accepted and Perfocal chose to go with them to enable them making a larger profit on the job. Whether this was the case or not is largely irrelevant though from my point of view.
I informed Perfocal that they had broken our contract, as they had offered me the job which I had accepted and had also confirmed with the client. They just repeated that "it was a duplicate booking and an error on their part and that no payment was due." Given that they confirmed that it was an error on their part, I thought about taking them to small claims court but decided it just wasn't worth the time or effort for £75, so instead decided to put this genuine review up to help other photographers or people seeking a photography job. Needless to say, I won't be accepting any further jobs from them.
I also see the following at the top of the Trustpilot page which says it all:

Working with Perfocal was great
Working with Perfocal was great. Our initial photographer didn’t reply and perfocal quickly found us a new photographer. Jobi was such a joy to work with on our wedding day! She organised everything in such a way that there was no stress for us.

Graduation photos
Really friendly photographer who kept me up to date on the day, including suggesting where to get photos done as the place we suggested had scaffolding! Over 90 photos sent through.
Fitted us in as a late booking. Highly recommended

Photographer was fantastic
Jay was excellent as our wedding photographer. She arrived early, took direction on what sort of shots we'd like, adapted to changing light throughout the day and very quickly uploaded the high quality photos onto the website for us to access.
